Texas Greenlight is a screenwriting competition created by working filmmakers with one goal:
Find a great screenplay and turn it into a feature film.
You submit your feature screenplay.
Our team reads and evaluates your work.
Top scripts advance through multiple rounds.
One screenplay receives the Texas Greenlight.
We develop it. We produce it. We take it from script to screen.
Feature-length narrative screenplays only (75-120 pages)
Must be written in English and submitted as PDF
All genres are accepted
Open worldwide to writers 18 and older
Multiple entries allowed (one screenplay = one entry)

Texas Greenlight is backed by filmmakers with experience producing for Lifetime, Hallmark, ReelShort, and other film and television platforms.
In partnership with CMP Productions and Machina Cinema, our team brings real-world development and production experience from script to screen.
We're producers, directors, and storytellers who work on real sets with real crews.
