Eligibility requirements to participate in the BexarFest Multimedia Program:
Open to all nonprofits, high schools and out-of-school time programs in Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson counties.
High schools and out-of-school programs may participate with more than one team. Each team must have a separate sponsor/coach.
All high school and out-of-school program teams wishing to participate in the BexarFest program must submit their application by 5pm on September 6th 2024.
All nonprofits wishing to participate in the BexarFest program must submit their application by 5pm on August 16th, 2024.
Each school or out-of-school program team can have up to 15 student members and two faculty or staff members as sponsors/coaches.
All members of the school or out-of-school program teams must be enrolled in high school or the equivalent during the program year participating.
Each school or out-of-school program team will be paired with a nonprofit organization based on its expressed field of interest and geographic convenience.
All nonprofit organizations participating in the program must be approved by the BexarFest organizers.
Official confirmation of participation will be provided to both nonprofits and high school teams prior to the start of the program year.

SCHOOLS
BexarFest is open to high school media production teams and out-of-school programs located in the below eight counties. Students are given the opportunity to experience a media production and an in-depth look at how nonprofit organizations operate while gain important workplace skills.
Each team is paired with a local nonprofit organization to create videos, still photos, graphics, original music, and banner art that the nonprofit can use in its outreach efforts. Teams can enter as many or as few categories as they'd like. To see a list of this year's categories, check out our Events Page.
There is no fee to participate.

NONPROFITS
BexarFest is open to any nonprofit located in the above eight counties. Each local nonprofit is paired with a high school media team for the entirety of the program year. Served by high school student teams, nonprofits are given valuable marketing assets in the form of videos, photos, graphics, original music, and banner art that can be used in all outreach efforts. At the same time, nonprofits participating in BexarFest give students the opportunity to gain community service experience.
There is no fee to participate.
