Check out everything our program has to offer. We'd love to meet with your CTE team and administrators to show you just how easy it is to implement Alamo Arts Academy into your school.
FEB 26-28, 2025
The Alamo Arts Academy's "48 to Create" competition gives middle school and high school students the chance to complete a multimedia challenge in 48 hours. This hurried style of production is meant to be fun while challenging students' critical thinking and communication skills. Through this unique event, they will gain valuable hands-on experience working as a team to problem solve, all while creatively exploring the skills they're learning in their Alamo Arts Academy courses.
THE CHALLENGE
Create a 3-min short film and accompanying poster design using photography in 48 hours.
THE SKILLS
Team projects utilize skills in all four of our Alamo Arts Academy subjects: Film Production, Digital Photography, Audio Engineering & Graphic Design.
Check out last year's recap video to see what it's all about!

Students will work alongside industry professionals and event staff and get to experience the excitement of being backstage!
Alamo Arts Academy's Team Challenge is a group competition to show off students' skills and compete with other students across their city. It's a perfect competition for EVERY student enrolled in the program to participate.
Teachers will divide their classes into production teams and create a project around a creative prompt. They'll be tasked with putting together a complete video, photo, audio, and graphic design project over the course of 2 months.
After the submission deadline, our panel of judges will select the best middle school and high school project, and winners will receive a pizza party and special swag.
